A certain large segment of sports reporting has really become a cesspool. Social media destroyed ESPN. Before they could actually have measured realistic analysis. Now it’s all about what hot take they can get to trend on twitter. They look even more like shitheels when you consider most of them probably generate traffic with out of context incomplete quotes clickbait headlines and outright speculation. Not one of them can link you to a real story they have covered yet want to tell other people how to do the job when they don’t do it themselves.
